World Sepsis Day Campaign

Sepsis is one of the most preventable causes of death in Nigerian hospitals — and one of the least recognised. Mistaken for a regular infection, it progresses silently until it is too late.

HEI’s public health advocacy work focuses on teaching communities and frontline health workers to recognise the signs of sepsis early enough to act.

This campaign funds awareness materials, community talks, and partnership activities around World Sepsis Day — the 13th of September.
